Eerder meldde deze site dat studenten en alumni van de master Zorg, Ethiek en Beleid (ZEB) een Platform ZEB hebben opgericht. Doel is het netwerken tussen afgestudeerden en studenten ZEB makkelijker te maken. Er zijn inmiddels enkele verdere initiatieven binnen dit Platform te melden.
Tijdens de oprichtingsbijeenkomst konden deelnemers zich opgegeven voor speciale interessegroepen (sig’s), waarin leden regelmatig bijeenkomen rondom bepaalde thema’s.

Europees Netwerk Zorgethiek en boekenreeks Ethics of Care
Op 29 en 30 November 2011 vond in Tilburg een levendige werkconferentie plaats van zorgethici uit verschillende Europese landen. Doel van de conferentie was om wetenschappers met elkaar in contact te brengen en plannen te maken voor samenwerking. Dat idee van samenwerking werd door alle deelnemers ondersteund en zal in de nabije toekomst onder meer vorm krijgen in de website Ethicsofcare.org.

1. Where are you working at this moment?
I am professor of philosophy at the University of Oslo.
2. Can you tell us about your research and its relation to the ethics of care?
I work within the field of moral philosophy, and I focus on the ethics of care in particular. I am interested in exploring the ethics of care along various dimensions: the history of care ethics; the structure, justification and meta-ethical foundation of a normative, feminist ethics of care; and also in the application of care ethics.

1. Where are you working at this moment?
I am working at the University of Bordeaux.
2. Can you tell us about your research and its relation to the ethics of care?
For me the ethics of care should take place in the form of a reflection on norms. Because we always are indebted to social norms, we have to pay attention to the different ways in which we are governed by those norms and by the ways in return we can try to make something inside a general configuration of norms.

The relation of my research to the ethics of care began in 2006 with a paper for a French review Esprit, and then with a book about moral sentiments in the ethics of care.
