I am semi-retired but still at the City University of New York, Graduate Center, Philosophy Department.

I am the author of The Ethics of Care: Personal, Political, and Global; Feminist Morality: Transforming Culture, Society, and Politics; and other relevant books and articles, most recently “Morality, Care, and International Law,” in Ethics and Global Politics (open access)

1. Where are you working at this moment?
Being an emeritus since December 2011, most of the time I work at home. I have been Willem van den Bergh professor at the Faculty of Theology of VU University Amsterdam. This Chair was established by ‘s Heeren Loo, a Dutch service provider for people with intellectual disability, in order to stimulate research and training in the field of ethics and intellectual disability.

1. Where are you working at this moment?
I am professor of philosophy at the University of Oslo.
2. Can you tell us about your research and its relation to the ethics of care?
I work within the field of moral philosophy, and I focus on the ethics of care in particular. I am interested in exploring the ethics of care along various dimensions: the history of care ethics; the structure, justification and meta-ethical foundation of a normative, feminist ethics of care; and also in the application of care ethics.

1. Where are you working at this moment?
I am working at the University of Bordeaux.
2. Can you tell us about your research and its relation to the ethics of care?
For me the ethics of care should take place in the form of a reflection on norms. Because we always are indebted to social norms, we have to pay attention to the different ways in which we are governed by those norms and by the ways in return we can try to make something inside a general configuration of norms.

I am working at the University of Bordeaux
2. Can you tell us about your research and its relation to the ethics of care?
The relation of my research to the ethics of care began in 2006 with a paper for a French review Esprit, and then with a book about moral sentiments in the ethics of care.
